The private beach area at this resort is like a hidden gem, where you can unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's as if you have your own personal paradise, complete with stunning sea views and the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore. You can spend hours lounging on the balcony, sipping a tropical drink, and feeling like you're in a scene from a postcard.
Dirty surroundings and unusable beach.

Stayed at a place with a "private" beach, which was lovely. The room had a balcony with sea views and free WiFi, making my stay a bit less boring. Breakfast was tasty, and the sun terrace was a nice spot to tan.
Such a shame that the beautiful beach was littered with garbage. But hey, what's a bit of rubbish between paradise seekers?

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious and they even accommodated my request for a late breakfast and packed me a sandwich and fruit for when I checked out early. Surrounded by nature, this hotel felt very tropical. The staff were very helpful but not intrusive. The rooms had beautiful decor, especially the ones with mezzanine floors. The outdoor showers were a great touch. The hotel also had a self-service bar with an honesty system, which was a lovely touch. The transfer to and from the hotel was excellent. The hotel is in a great location, close to the local village, which gave it an authentic feel. I would definitely visit again.
Nothing, it is perfect.

Stayed at a "charming" beachside village with cozy huts, amazing views, and peaceful surroundings. Loved the swing and sunbeds at the restaurant. Breakfast was tasty but repetitive. Bin in my hut wasn't cleaned in days and became a feast for stray dogs.
Heaven for stray dogs looking for leftovers.

The private bathroom at The Tropical Koh Mook was like having my own little oasis in paradise. The shower was refreshing and the free toiletries made me feel pampered. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring.
The only thing I didn't love was the limited space in the bathroom, but hey, that's just me. Others might not mind at all.
